Ted Lasso is a Jungian Drama
Ted hs been a father figure for Nate. The first episode has Nate being Amazed that someone remembered his name. Ted asked for his help, took his advice finally rewarding him as a coach. Nate's ego started to go, a necessary accomplishment for one in their 20-30's. Nate loves Ted so much he gives him a picture of the two at Nate's crowning moment. Nate goes to Keely who is a power person developing her own ego as she grows from model/samll time actress (she's on the hotel channel ) to team PR wiz which leads to a VC funding her own PR firm. Keely's growth seems appropriate, Nate's doesn't (spitting on bathroom mirrors). We see how Nate's real father emotionally abuses him. And most of the first season Nate is abused by the team players. It's masterful how Ted gets Roy to end that. Ted has grown to a 'connect and collaborate' leader who believes in helping everyone become the best version of themselves. Ted is not about power, not about comma...
